Amazing Aloha Life is committed to making this website welcoming and usable for everyone, including guests who use assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or screen magnification.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of abilities.
What we do
- Meaningful text descriptions on our photos, real headings in order, and clear
page titles, so a screen reader can describe each page.
- Colour and contrast that meet the AA thresholds, and text that resizes without
breaking the layout.
- Full keyboard operation with a visible focus outline, and a skip-to-content
link so keyboard users can jump straight past the menu.
- Labelled booking and contact forms, with error messages that say what to fix.
- A calm, motion-light intro video that plays muted, offers a pause control, and
shows a still image instead of motion for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion.
Where we are
This is an ongoing effort. Some older pages and third-party booking tools may not yet meet every part of the standard, and we are working through them. If you find a page that is hard to use, please tell us – it helps us fix it faster.
